Pastor Sharon grew up in a Catholic family of 5 siblings and can’t remember a time when she didn’t believe in God. She had a difficult childhood as her Dad was a WWII veteran who suffered from PTSD and self medicated with alcohol. Her mom, although very loving, was often the victim of her dad’s violent outbursts. Pastor Sharon spent her teen years getting high to avoid the emptiness she felt in her heart. As a senior in High School, she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and was filled with the Holy Spirit. This transformed her life completely as she experienced freedom from judgment in her newborn faith. At age 20, she was sent as a missionary by her Pastor to Germany in order to work with Teen Challenge Eurasia. Pastor Sharon also attended Valley Forge Christian College for 2 years. In 1980, she married Pastor Steve Iannuccilli, Sr. and by the leading of the Holy Spirit, founded The Praise Tabernacle 3 years later. Together they built their family of 5, which in addition to them consisted of their children Steven, Paul and Christine. Her passion is to encourage hurting people with the Love of Jesus. She still frequently travels to Europe and Africa to support local missions and orphanages there. Today she is married to Robert Burke and has 4 wonderful children including Alyssa, her stepdaughter. Pastor Sharon is also proud to be a grandma and loves to garden, bake and spend time enjoying her family!
